Caribbean, Mexico, Playa del Carmen, El Dorado Maroma Spa & Hotel

As always, Mexico comes up trumps and this location is no exception with stunning pools, hammocks and of course the golden beach with blue ocean for as far as you can see. The rooms are a delight also, towels, dressing gowns, sofas and especially the beds! The most outstanding feature though, as you will see from browsing the pictures on the blog, is each room has it's own pool on the balcony. The attention to detail is exceptional, as is the service to an extremely high standard. There is a beautiful beach setting for weddings and a gorgeous beach front church seating around 40 people. For a smaller location this seems to have it all at The El Dorado Maroma here in Playa del Carmen.
